What I wish I knew about Meta Ads
Let me tell you about the first time I ran Meta Ads…
I boosted a post.
Threw some cash at it.
Crossed my fingers.

Middle of Funnel (MOFU) is where…
They've seen you before. Now it's about trust.
Use testimonials or case studies as social proof.
Speak to your client or customers pain points and show your unique selling points.
Bottom of Funnel (BOFU)…
Ready to buy? Give them the push. Have a conversation!
Direct CTA: “Book a call.” “Here’s a discount.” “Buy now.”
Small Budget?
Don’t overthink it. If you only have $10/day, here’s where to spend it:
Top of Funnel – Bring new eyes to your brand
Retargeting Ads – Show up again to people who’ve visited your website or engaged with your content
Retargeting is CHEAPER and more likely to convert. Here. you could use:
User-generated content
Testimonials
Product-focused videos
Think like a pro
Even if you have the best ads, if your website is lack lustre, or confusing, even the best ads aren't likely to convert
Before you even think about running ads, ask yourself this
Does my website load quickly?
Is it clear what I’m offering?
Do people have to click 7 times to buy?
Can people see who I am, what I do and how I help, ‘above the fold'?
Simplify the journey for your customers.
Fewer clicks for them = more conversions for you.
Death to the filler post
Clicks are easy. Conversions are hard.
Make your ads thumb-stopping.
Avoid sharing filler content, it’s dogging your organic reach.
Instead:
Post with purpose
Reuse high-performing content
Focus on creative that builds trust and connection.
