My tips for business growth (without the burnout)
Oh hey, it's, Rosie here.
Throughout 2024, I was in the thick of it, growing my business from scratch.
Within 12 months of launching, I was working with 70+ creatives, consultants and ambitious entrepreneurs helping to transform their business with more clarity & direction than ever before.
Here’s a quick snapshot of what I achieved in 2024:
- Worked with over 70+ entrepreneurs, changing the trajectory of their businesses
- Hosted 7 in-person networking events, connecting business owners and entrepreneurs with one another
- Guest spoke on 3 podcasts
- Did a keynote at Auckland's Bentley Showroom
- Launched my Best Business Playbook, helping creative entrepreneurs rely less on Instagram and confidently build a sales & marketing strategy
- Snuck in a European holiday
- And, of course, kept working on growing and evolving my own knowledge with my wonderful mentors.
Looking back, that's a helluva first year in business.
Here’s the thing. Working with so many different businesses and popping the hood to take a look around, it helped me gain a unique perspective.
I've seen the inner workings of so many businesses that it feels like I've been given the key to a vault.
It's because of this unique insight, throughout 2024 I was constantly applying these learnings to my own business.
And now I'm sharing them with you to help you evolve and grow.
Here's what I've learned and what you should be doing to ensure you're on the path to success in 2025.
🎯 Instead of creating MORE content, create evergreen content that you can re-purpose again and again. Get off the content creation hamster wheel, free up your time and reclaim your sanity you'll thank me later).
🎯 Instead of fearing AI, learn how to harness it and use it in your business. A wise man told me that AI won't replace your job but the people who learn to use AI effectively will!
🎯 Invest in your online community but invest MORE in IRL events, workshops and retreats.
🎯 Times are still tough, there's still a lot of economic shakiness out there so mastering your mindset around money and alleviating scarcity will be essential to prolonged growth.
🎯 Build once, use often! We always think we need to create more. That new & shiny = better. In reality, new often = more stress and overwhelm.
🎯 If you're 'boosting' posts, you're wasting your money. Invest properly in ads that work and convert.
🎯 Creating and nurturing your own personal brand will be essential to growing your business in 2025. Remember: People buy from people.
So, what will I be doing more of in 2025?
🧨 Spending more time understanding my clients needs and creating EVERYTHING with them in mind. By asking myself 'will this help my clients today' and doing ONE THING to help them, I'm already ahead of the curve.
Controversial opinion, they probably don't need another insta reel from me 🫣
🧨 Spend time every day with my first hire: Chat GPT. Training it to speak 'Rosie Coaches'. By constantly sharing insights from my clients, I can continually train it to help me add more value to the businesses I work with.
🧨 Hosting more in person events and workshops (with more to come).

And here's a sneak peek at the Design Assembly 'Women In Design' Workshop on March 21st.
🧨 Hopping off the constant creator hamster wheel and creating LESS. Instead, I will be prioritising the people in front of me, which, in turn will help me stay sane, manage my time effectively and avoid burnout (what a win).
🧨 Continue to show up and be the person that creative CEO's can come to for support, guidance and growth.
